In today’s meeting we discussed about upcoming events and some of the individual projects that FBLA offers to members.

If you are attending the LDI conference please keep the following in mind:
- The conference will take place in Santa Clara Marriott Hotel on October 23 – 25th.
- Friday evening is the hotel check-in and time to network with others and Saturday 9am – 5pm are the workshops, entrepreneurship, internships, leadership development, foreign affairs, and more!
- Saturday evening is the chapter dinner (dress code: semi-formal) and Sunday morning is the closing session and hotel check out.
- Dress code for the conference is business formal. Men: Suits, slacks, dress shoes, etc. Women: Blazer, business skirts (up to knees), heels, etc. If you are staying at the hotel, bring extra pairs of clothes for when you are in your hotel rooms.
In today’s meeting we discussed a variety of events and projects that are taking place in the near future. We went over the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) and explained the benefits that it has to offer. Specifically, LDI allows members to meet and network with other members, attend informative workshops, and have fun with friends. In addition, we discussed the American Enterprise Project that gives members the opportunity to teach low income students about finance as well as offers many different types of volunteering opportunities. Finally, we addressed the upcoming Competitions Social that will occur September 25th, 3-5 pm in Room 913. This social is highly encouraged for all freshmen and new competitors and will allow members to preview some major competition events.
Also to be an official FBLA national member, please fill out this online membership form and bring in your $20 donation (checks payable to Cupertino High School) paper-clipped to this form (printed) to the next meeting.

First Meeting 9.10.15
At today’s meeting we went over the fundamentals about FBLA, discussed about the various socials, projects, and competitions that occur throughout the year, and finally played a trivia game and handed out souvenirs to members that answered questions correctly.
